NOW THAT YOU'RE AWAY

Now that you're away
I feel so very alone
I wish I could be with you
Before our girl is grown

Now that you're away
The days grow ever long
I try to explain to others
This is why our love is strong

Now that you're away
The house is no longer fun
I can't stand to stay there
So I'm always out on a run

Now that you're away
I miss my baby girl
What more can I do or say
She's halfway around the world

Now that you're away
I cry most every night
There’s no one else around me
To kiss and hug me tight

Now that you're away
I want that you should know
There’s nothing else that matters
Except how much I LOVE YOU SO
